Transforming Sadler Elementary

TNG Joins “Central Florida Together We Can” to Support Title I School, Sadler Elementary

At The Nickley Group, we believe in the power of community. We know the impact we can make when we come together for a common cause. Recently, we partnered with XL 106.7’s radio personality, Johnny Magic, and his nonprofit, Baby DJ Foundation. Together, we worked on their new initiative, “Central Florida Together We Can.” The mission of CFTWC is to transform a Title I school into an ‘A’ school. Chiefly, this initiative proves that any school can achieve greatness with community support and funding.

Over Labor Day weekend, our team, led by Johnny Magic, joined a dedicated group of volunteers. We all rolled up our sleeves to give back in a meaningful way. Specifically, we set out to renovate the Teacher’s Lounge at Sadler Elementary, a Title I school in Central Florida. Some of our efforts included painting the walls a fresh, inviting color. We also added trim for a polished look and ripped out the old cabinets to replace them with brand-new ones.

As a result, teachers returned on Tuesday morning to a complete surprise. They found a chic, newly remodeled space that was unrecognizable from the original. The smiles and gasps of joy as they walked in said it all. In fact, some even thought they had entered the wrong room!

Rachel Mott, the Principal of Sadler Elementary, was thrilled with the outcome! “The transformation is absolutely beautiful, and we are beyond grateful for the amazing support and hard work that went into making this happen,” she shared on Instagram. We thank her for her collaboration and her vision in making this project a reality.

Six Central Florida Companies Came Together to Make This Vision a Reality:

Of course, the project didn’t stop there. To further support the school, the CFTWC program also donated a U-Haul full of school supplies and new sports equipment. These items came from Sadler Elementary’s Amazon Wishlist. This donation ensured that both students and teachers have the tools they need to succeed.

“The Nickley Group is honored to join Together We Can in making a significant impact on this deserving school,” said Tom Nickley. “Supporting our community is central to TNG’s values. This project resonated with us from the moment Johnny shared it. The teachers and students are truly the heart of our community. They deserve to feel the love and support they bring to all of us.”

To emphasize her gratitude, Sadler Elementary’s Principal, Rachel Mott, echoed this sentiment in an Instagram post:
“A HUGE thank you to our incredible Central Florida Together We Can community for spending their Labor Day weekend at Sadler working on a surprise staffulty lounge makeover! Your dedication to our staffulty and students is a shining example of the power of community partnerships! Together, we are creating a space where our educators can recharge and feel appreciated every day!! Thank you for helping us make a difference!”

To sum up our Labor Day weekend, we truly had a blast and are grateful to be part of this initiative. As can be seen below, this transformation will make a difference for years to come!
