Oviedo

Oviedo, Florida is a small city located in Seminole County, with a population of around 35,000. It is situated approximately 25 miles northeast of downtown Orlando and is known for its “hometown” feel. The city was founded in 1925 by a group of settlers who sought to establish churches and schools in the area. Oviedo initially operated as an agricultural community, growing primarily oranges and other citrus fruits. Over the years, it has developed into a suburban bedroom community that continues to embrace its rural roots.
