Holiday Events in Central Florida
Night of a Million Lights at Give Kids the World Village
If you are unfamiliar with Give Kids the World Village, it is a non-profit resort in Kissimmee that partners with organizations like Make A Wish to provide a place for families with critically ill children to vacation. Many kids who stay at Give Kids the World Village have spent an unfair amount of time in hospitals and having medical procedures. Over the years, Give Kids the World has supported more than 177,000 families from all over the world.
For Night of a Million Lights, they fill the resort with millions of colorful Christmas lights, a visit from Santa Clause, and a tram ride through the village. This is a ticketed event running daily from 5 pm – 10 pm. To help with crowd control, entry times are staggered. If you’d like to learn more, please visit their website to learn more about purchasing tickets. Ticket prices start at $25 for adults and $15 for kids. Proceeds of the tickets, merchandise, food & drink will support their mission of providing a free dream vacation to families with critically ill children. Let’s spend the 2021 Holiday season giving back to one of Central Florida’s charities.

Winter Garden
Just 30 minutes west of Orlando, the city of Winter Garden has events every weekend throughout December. Downtown Winter Garden is a cute downtown area; however, they truly shine during the holidays. There is plenty of fun for the family, like a Christmas parade, horse-drawn holiday carriages, and movie nights each weekend. Check out Winter Garden’s website for more information.
