Tristan’s path into real estate wasn’t straightforward. After graduating from UCF in 2020 and initially considering a career in law, Tristan found herself at a crossroads during the pandemic. Uncertain about attending law school online, she decided to explore other options.
During this time, Tristan worked a boutique sales job and discovered her passion for interacting with people. The joy of seeing customers delighted with their purchases ignited her passion. Recognizing her potential, Tristan’s boss encouraged her to pursue a real estate license while continuing to work.
At just 21 years old and with no prior real estate experience, Tristan took a leap of faith. She interviewed with various Keller Williams teams in Orlando, seeking a supportive environment to start her real estate career. Following these interviews, she met a recruiter from Keller Williams in Oviedo who offered her a position as an assistant while she learned about the real estate world.
Without reservation, Tristan wholeheartedly embraced this role and worked diligently as an assistant and listing manager with the top team in Oviedo. This experience allowed her to learn the ropes, absorb knowledge, and gain confidence in her abilities. Over time, her determination and growth made it clear that she was ready to become a full-fledged real estate agent.
Wanting to be closer to her downtown Orlando home, she joined Keller Williams at the Parks, which led her to our team at the Nickley Group. This decision marked a turning point in her career, as she found the perfect place to pursue her goals.
In her two years as a real estate agent with the Nickley Group, Tristan has achieved remarkable success, closing deals worth $15 million and completing 36 transactions. These achievements, surpassing the average trajectory for new real estate agents, reflect her dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.
Despite all of the positives, she’s faced challenges too, especially in the beginning when building her client base. Tristan highlights the importance of consistency, a value she learned from the Nickley Group. The team’s structured approach, including daily call blocks and unwavering support from colleagues, overall played a vital role in her success.
Another essential aspect of Tristan’s journey has been her use of social media—a great note for other agents. She doesn’t just showcase Orlando real estate listings but also shares her personal experiences and stories. This authentic approach resonates well with her audience and translates into business opportunities.
