One of our most cherished partnerships is with Baby DJ, a nonprofit organization founded over 30 years ago by Johnny Magic, host of Johnny’s House on XL 106.7.
Johnny Magic created Baby DJ to bring joy to families in Central Florida facing financial challenges during the holidays. From toys and food to Christmas trees, their efforts brighten the season for over 3,500 kids each year. Beyond the holidays, Baby DJ supports families year-round with programs like school supply drives and the “Central Florida Together We Can” initiative, focused on transforming Title I schools. Their initiatives also include Operation Princess Project and other community-focused efforts.
Our Role with Baby DJ
For several years, The Nickley Group has proudly served as a toy drop-off location for Baby DJ’s annual Holiday Toy Drive. It’s been an honor to provide a convenient spot for our community to contribute to such a meaningful cause. In the past two years, we expanded our efforts to include monetary donations, raising funds through initiatives like the raffle at our annual Poinsettia Giveaway Holiday Party. This past year, we raised $10,000 to support Baby DJ’s mission.
Our connection with Baby DJ goes beyond donations. We work closely with Johnny Magic and the iHeart team on various ventures and projects aimed at uplifting our community. From volunteering at events to collaborating on new initiatives, this partnership has become a cornerstone of our commitment to giving back.

During a recent segment on Johnny’s House on XL 106.7, Johnny Magic and Tom Nickley reflected on our partnership with Baby DJ. They highlighted our contributions, including how we’ve raised funds through our holiday party raffle and how XL 106.7 generously donated a “Producer for the Day” experience to support the cause.
